How does it moisturize and hydrate?
The immediate cooling sensation of
NatraGel acts as a calming, soothing agent
on contact with the skin.
As the body
temperature warms up the NatraGel, the gel
matrix begins to release the incorporated
additives and moisture out onto the skin. An
occlusive moisture barrier further holds and
drives the additives and moisture onto the
stratum corneum layer of the skin.
How can additives be incorporated into
NatraGel?
The NatraGel hydrogel matrix exhibits
both liquid-like and solid-like properties.
This composition makes NatraGel
biocompatible with a wide range of
therapeutic additives (depending on the
additives size, shape, polarity, solubility
and sensitivity to light/heat). This unique
biocompatibility along with the matrix
structure allow NatraGel to release/deliver
these incorporated additives onto the skin.
Using NatraGel in combination with other
creams or serums, is also a highly effective
way deliver these products to the skin and
reduce oxidation of ingredients. In-vitro
skin model laboratory evaluations have been
performed to confirm the degree and rate of
transfer to the skin of a variety of the
active agents which have been incorporated
into NatraGel.
